FASHION LAND

Hi Guys, I am new to this but I want to share my passion for fashion with you all. My style may not be to everyone's taste but hey that is why we declare individuality.

Two achievable looks for a casual Saturday night. Using the same blazer and same t shirt in a white you can change it up as you see fit, and weather permitting (a huge factor here in wet ol windy Ireland). Casual, chic and easy to wear…simple style!

Hair Crush of the day…”Undone Bun”. Buns are back in a big way, this time however they are modern “undone” style buns. Personally I adore the messy bun scrapped right to the top of the crown, but it can be worn loose at the back or to the side. I think I will rock one of the high top, messy buns myself this week!!!

Another fashion inspiration for me is Nicole Richie. She oozes cool and hip whether it be in a pair of cut off denim shorts and white t or a backless Haute Couture gown. Her style is clean, laid back, hippy, cool. Key to her look is a simple outfit giving room to pile on accessories, which Nicole does so well. Sunglasses are a major part of her look….rain or shine get out your classic large sunnies and rock them!! To finish it off…think bed head. That unkempt, I just got out of bed hair is easy wear and looks great. Nicole Richie I salute you for your California cool!

Hair to me is also key to staying on trend….I am in love with Ombre hair. Coming from the French word Ombre meaning shaded or graduated in tone. The look involves darker roots which gradually become lighter as you go down the hair; giving a natural, sun-kissed look.

Ombre hair has become a huge celebrity hair trend among Hollywood’s hottest actresses and fashionistas. Celebrities from Sarah Jessica Parker to Rachel Bilson have been seen with the beachy hair trend. The ombre hair look is also practical for women who still want to get their hair done, but don’t necessarily want to spend the time or cash to go to the salon every 4-6 weeks to get touch-ups. This look affords women more time between salon visits due to its natural and low maintenance style. Which to me is a major plus!! So if you have been looking for a new, easy going mane without breaking the bank, give ombre hair a go!
